NoA News: 270 Picasso Paintings "FOUND"?
A retired electrician contacted Pablo Picasso's estate regarding authentication of collages, notebooks, drawings and a watercolor in his possession.
The good news: the 71 year-old is in possession of a treasure trove of works by the master himself. YAY!
The bad news: he is now being sued by the estate for the possession of allegedly stolen works. D'OH!
Hmmm, I guess it is a little suspicious when you turn up with 271 Picassos, and can't quite explain how they came to be in your possession. In the wake of the story of the original/unoriginal Ansel Adams photographs turning up at a garage sale, we're looking forward to hearing how this pans out.
