THE VENICE ART WALK: MAY 23, 2010!!!
The time has come for the annual Venice Art Walk - with 400 pieces of work being auctioned to benefit the Venice Family Clinic, local restaurants pitching tents to feed the masses, and the neighborhood's studio spaces welcoming the public to otherwise private environments, the Walk is amongst the most popular days in the City of LA's calendar.
Unlike other "art walks," the beauty of the Venice edition is that it not only features area galleries but almost a hundred open houses and studios where the public can experience the intimate environments where artists create their work.
The work varies from the amazing (Don Bachardy) to the amazingly interesting (Ichiro Irie), from the popular (Shepard Fairey) to polaroids (me :-] ). Come down, check it out, place a bid!!!
